Exit Readiness Assessment

Fourteen short questions, an honest read on where you stand. A few minutes, nothing saved, no obligation.

1. Do you have a clear reason & target timeline for exiting?
2. Are your financial statements clean, current, & externally reviewed?
3. Could the business run day to day without you for a month?
4. Is your revenue spread across many customers rather than a few?
5. Do you have a management team that could stay on after a sale?
6. Are your key processes documented rather than only in your head?
7. Do you have recurring or contracted revenue?
8. Has your revenue & profit been stable or growing recently?
9. Do you have a current, realistic sense of what the business is worth?
10. Do you have a personal financial plan for life after the sale?
11. Are your contracts, leases, & corporate records in good order?
12. Are your key assets or equipment in good, transferable condition?
13. Is there a clear growth story a buyer could continue?
14. Are you personally ready to let go & move to what is next?

This is a general self assessment for your own reflection. It is not a valuation, not a score that buyers see, and not financial, tax, or legal advice.
